This week, my wife flew back to Australia, leaving me solo with our three unstoppable kids. Naturally, I had to think of another challenge that would push us out of our comfort zone and into adventure. So here’s what I did: No electricity. No running water. No cell phone service (yes the police were searching for us after my wife panicked that we weren't answering her calls). Just fresh snow, fir trees, and absolute stillness. Every amenity I normally take for granted suddenly took hours. π₯ Need warmth? Chop firewood. You’d think it would be frustrating… but actually, something unexpected happened. I felt more alive than I had in months. No emails. No meetings. No endless notifications. Just survival. Chop wood, carry water, stay warm, and soak in the endless life force of my kids. The sheer simplicity of it all shocked me to my core. I didn’t realize how scattered my mind was until I stripped life down to its essentials. And I made a decision: It’s time to simplify. πΉ Simplify my work processes. Because less is clear. |

π‘ Big Idea: A simple life is a clear life. π One Tool: Take the time to remove the distractions that don’t add real value to your life. π― Action Step: I'll update you next week! Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing how I’m simplifying my life—what worked, what didn’t, and how you can simplify yours. Stay tuned. |
