Navigating the Social World
Event Description:
Navigating the Social World: Adolescents (Ages 11–15)
Join us for a practical, research-informed two-part virtual learning series designed for parents and teachers of adolescents ages 11–15. Led by Melanie Rosenthal, M.S., CCC-SLP, this series explores adolescent social development, friendships, social cues, flexible thinking, social anxiety, and self-advocacy. The first session focuses on understanding the challenges adolescents may experience, while the second emphasizes applying practical strategies to real-life situations, including navigating peer relationships, managing conflict, communicating effectively, and building independence. Grounded in a neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based approach, this interactive series offers tools to help teens navigate their social world with greater confidence. Sessions take place November 11 and 18, from 7:30–8:30 PM via Zoom.
Registration is $56 for both sessions, with a deadline of Monday, November 9. Space is limited to ensure individualized attention.
