  1. Submit your event
    When you create your event, include at least one way for people to register or join — such as a registration page link, Zoom or livestream link, or your email address.
  2. Approval process
    After you submit your event, our team will review it before it goes live. If approved, it will appear publicly on the site. If not, we’ll let you know why and how to adjust it.
  3. When someone clicks “Get Access”
    • The person will fill out a short form with their name, email, and phone number.
    • Right after submitting the form, they’ll see your event details.
      • If you added a registration or meeting link, that link will appear automatically.
      • If you didn’t, your email address will be shown so they can contact you directly.
    • You’ll receive their contact information immediately so you can follow up or confirm their registration.

Course Overview
Gain administrative and clinical tools to effectively and confidently support counselors-in-training (CITs).

Course Description
This workshop is designed for licensed clinicians who supervise counselors-in-training, and will provide practical administrative and clinical guidance to help supervisors create supportive, ethical and developmentally appropriate field placement experiences. Participants will explore strategies for orienting students to site expectations, providing effective feedback, supporting skill development, addressing common supervision challenges, and ensuring trainees are adequately prepared for professional counseling practice. The workshop will also help supervisors strengthen their confidence and clarity in meeting students where they are while promoting growth, accountability and readiness for the field.

• Identify best practices for orienting counselors-in-training to field placement expectations and professional roles.
• Apply effective supervisory strategies to support skill development and provide constructive feedback.
• Recognize common challenges in field placement supervision and implement ethical, developmentally appropriate responses.
