"Become a better YOU!"
Why I chose to be in the helping profession
Jewish Therapist in Manhattan, NY
I am interested and committed to seeing you grow and develop as you explore your patterns, scripts, and inner workings to develop a more integrated YOU. Whether you are an individual, couple, or family system, that wants to be the best you can be and free yourself from your emotional and social blockage(s), I am able to work with you. I have worked with many different ages and presenting concerns with positive outcomes.
As the past Social Work Director of a large yeshiva, supervisor of many MSW students (about 70), and a private practice clinician, with a specialty in Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples, (EFT), I have had the opportunity to treat many different areas of mental health including anxiety, depression, addictions and others. I have had experience treating children, teenagers, young adults, couples, and families. My main focus is adults.
I also have many years of experience in the observant Jewish community and have resources and cultural competence unique to this specific population. This gives me another layer of sensitivity that makes the therapeutic process that much more successful for the committed client.
