Normal vs. Abnormal

How often to we say "it's just not normal"... the way I am reacting or the way you are talking or the reaction we are having is just not normal...

Back up a minute and first assess the situation. Is it a "normal" situation? Is it something that can be handled "Normally"? And what does that even mean? What is "Normal"? Everyone has a different definition of "normal" so who says what's normal and what is not normal?

As Victor Frankl quotes "An abnormal reaction to an abnormal situation is normal behavior". So cut yourself some slack and do what you choose to do and stop fretting if it's normal or not. If you need to ask that question, then it's not.... and whatever you do is great.
