Why Raquel Betesh, M.S., M.S. chose to be in the helping profession

I love connecting with people and I love helping people connect with others. I grew up in a very open-minded, spiritual, and Sephardic home, where my parents spoke openly about the importance of our personal connection with Hashem, and that has been the cornerstone of everything I've ever accomplished. I truly believe that every person we meet is for a reason and that I came into this world to help others help themselves. I believe life is a journey and we end up where we are most needed.

With an early interest in psychology and helping, I embarked on a long and rewarding road to become a Psychology Professor. I have a Bachelors in Psychology and a Master’s in Neuroscience and Education from Columbia University and a Master’s in Education from the Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education and Administration. I got involved as a shadchan and throughout those years, I became a kallah teacher, and a dating and relationship coach. It was a gradual and organic process and I feel very blessed to be in a position to help others.

I heard about Energy Healing a few years ago and it was not after spending many months researching it and discussing it with our Rav, that I felt comfortable trying it. After one session as a recipient, I saw the difference and wanted to learn how to do it! Not only has it completely transformed my life, but it has given me tools to help others transform theirs!!

While many people benefit solely from coaching, It is one thing to give you coping techniques for dealing with a fear, it is another thing to remove the fear completely.

These barriers may originate from experiences during your childhood or even blockages inherited from your parents.

Through listening, questioning, and challenging, you will come to your own clarity of how you want to approach the situations we discuss. I will never tell you what to do, I will rather help you see, understand, and come to your own conclusions.

What you can expect from sessions with Raquel Betesh, M.S., M.S.

I offer Coaching and Energy Healing. In my Energy Healing sessions, I often combine my years of coaching experience for a "Deep Coaching" experience!

Coaching: I take a holistic approach, addressing the client’s emotional blocks as well as providing practical dating strategies and decision-making frameworks. I emphasize intellectual clarity alongside emotional investment to help clients make choices from a place of empowerment rather than from anxiety, avoidance, or fears.

Energy Healing:

Reflect on any limiting beliefs you may hold (for example, “I am unworthy of being loved” or “I cannot make more money”). Where did these beliefs originate? What memories or energies contribute to them? Where in your body are these energies stored? What ages and experiences are connected to them? We can uncover and release the energies sustaining these limiting beliefs, allowing you to shift your mindset and become energetically open to receive that which your desire!

We uncover where these blockages stem from and remove them. While you might retain the memories of past challenges, traumas, and hurdles, your physiological reactions to them can change. This is a liberating and very freeing experience!

I chose to call my practice “Rak-Kel” because it means “Only Hashem”. I daven to be zochet to be the right vessel to aid your healing and to always remember that it is always, only Hashem.

Raquel Betesh, M.S., M.S. is a world-renown Coach, Energy Practitioner, and Public Speaker. Raquel studied Psychology and has a Master's in Education from Yeshiva University and a Master's in Neuroscience & Education from Columbia University. She has taught Psychology in Undergraduate Programs and incorporates her Psychology and Neuroscience background into her practice.
